Thank you for visiting. We hope to see you and your friends at our next gig.
We are living in difficult times for certain. The real estate
market has tanked. Unemployment is the highest in recent history.
People are very insecure in their continued employment and money is
tighter than ever. Wouldn't you, just for a short time, like to
indulge in forgetting all that and bring back the simpler times?
The “Feelgood Band” (as we've been described) plays the music
that brings back better times. When life was better, every day was a
fun day, full of hope and expectation. Each day carried news of a new
discovery, invention, medical breakthrough and positive happenings in
our world. We were reveling in the richest era of music liberation
ever, with the festival at Woodstock, the Doobie Brothers, Beatles,
Stones, Santana, Shadows, CCR, Eagles, Bob Marley, Eric Clapton,
America, Dire Straits, S.R. Vaughn, Steppenwolf, Tom Petty, Van
Morrison, Al Stewart, Bob Dylan, Carole King, Eddie Rabbit, Elvis,
Fastball, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffet, Paul Simon, KC & The
Sunshine Band, Rare Earth, Robert Palmer, Roy Orbison, Santo &
Johnny, Todd Rundgren, Elton John, The Doors, The Hollies, Emerson
Lake and Palmer, Cream, The Beach Boys and the list goes on and on!
Tired of the constant bombardment of “Death/Metal/Grunge/Punk”
and all that depressing, negative, angry, discouraging and
joy-sapping audio-pollution being plied by the media as “music”
nowdays? Well, you're not alone. We are too. That's why we formed
“The Burning Sensations” band. We needed a place to escape the
negativity that surrounds us – to get together with friends and
neighbors, co-workers and new acquaintances for the purpose of having
fun times again, like it was before. We're a bunch of serious
musicians, each with our own long life journey, just like you, and
the music of our time is your music too. It brought us together. Come
join with us and the good feelings of better times. Relive, relate,
reminisce and immerse yourself in that time that was so much less
burdened with the troubles of the day and feel the energy and life
again.
